BandInPad Mirror
The rest of the band sees the same page. Lyrics and chords, sent from BandInPad to every tablet on stage.
What it does
Mirror is the other half of BandInPad. BandInPad holds the set and plays the tracks; Mirror shows what BandInPad is sending, live, on as many screens as there are people on stage. The words and the chords move with the song.
There is nothing to prepare on the tablet. No library to copy, no set to build, no song to find: whatever BandInPad has in front of it is what appears. Big adjustable text on a black background, and the screen does not sleep while it is open.
What it needs
Your own Wi-Fi network or a phone hotspot, and BandInPad running on it. That is why the app asks for local network permission. There is no server in the middle and no internet connection involved: the traffic stays between your own devices.
Devices
iPad, Android tablets, Mac and Windows. An old tablet is good enough: Mirror only draws what it is told.
Privacy
Mirror collects nothing at all. The lyrics and chords you see arrive live and are not saved on the tablet. See the BandInPad Mirror privacy policy.
