BandInPad Mirror privacy policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026
What we collect
Nothing. BandInPad Mirror has no sign-up, no login and no user profile. We do not receive your name, your email address, your device identifiers, your location, your usage statistics, your crash reports or your audio.
There is no advertising in BandInPad Mirror, no advertising identifier is read, and no third-party analytics or tracking library is built into the app.
What stays on your device
BandInPad Mirror keeps almost nothing: only your own display settings, such as light or dark and the text size. These live in the app's own storage on your device and are deleted when you delete the app.
The lyrics and chords you see on screen arrive live from BandInPad while you are playing. They are not saved on the tablet.
The local network
BandInPad Mirror exists to show what BandInPad is sending. It connects to BandInPad over your own Wi-Fi network or phone hotspot, directly between your devices.
This is why the app asks for local network permission. There is no server in the middle and no internet connection involved: the traffic stays on your network. The app makes no network requests of any other kind.
Permissions the app asks for
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Local network | To receive lyrics and chords from BandInPad on your own Wi-Fi or hotspot. |
That is the only one. BandInPad Mirror does not request access to your location, your contacts, your photos, your camera or your microphone.
Children
BandInPad Mirror is a tool for performing musicians. It collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you. In our case the honest answer is that we hold none: there is nothing for us to send you and nothing for us to erase. The data in the app is yours, on your device, under your control.
If you write to us for support, we will of course have whatever you put in that email. We use it to answer you and nothing else.
Changes to this policy
If BandInPad Mirror ever starts sending data anywhere, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
